Awazel DS40M APP Modified Bituminous Membrane (4mm, Mineral Surfaced)
Awazel DS40M is a high-performance, APP (Atactic Polypropylene) modified bituminous membrane designed for superior, exposed-layer waterproofing. This durable 4mm membrane is reinforced with a strong 180 g/m² non-woven polyester mat, providing high tensile strength and excellent resistance to weathering. It is engineered to comply with ASTM D 6222 (Type I, Grade G) and SASO 2633 standards.
The top surface of the Awazel DS40M is finished with mineral slate granules, which provide excellent protection against UV radiation, making it ideal for final-layer, exposed roofing applications. The bottom surface has a heat-fusible polyethylene film for easy torch-on application. This membrane combines the great flexibility and chemical resistance of modified bitumen with the durability of a mineral surface, ensuring a long-lasting and aesthetically pleasing finish. For optimal performance, the substrate should be cleaned and primed with Awazel Primer D41.
